Artists and/or Teachers
Most of this list includes people who both teach and create art, so I’ve clumped them together.
Gleb Alexandrov – Runs the Creative Shrimp website and his eponymous YouTube Channel, which is a great resource for Blender artists to learn.
Josh Yeo – Probably better known as his channel name, MAKE. ART. NOW., makes videos with a heavy focus on artistic creativity, dropping the barrier to entry for creation, and fully investing yourself into your art.
Mantissa – Another Blender artist. Mantissa has a great experimental touch.
GMUNK – A master of mixed medium. Bradley G. Munkowitz has a very recognizable look for his pieces, especially his photography.
Ash Thorp – Website and Kit. Ash’s dark themes and dedication to only work on stuff he feels passionate about is iconic.
CandyStations – I follow Deborah Johnson on her Instagram where she posts abstract videos and VJ work.
Keiichi Matsuda – Augmented Reality artist.
Ben Ridgway – Ben creates elaborate fractal illustrations that describe metaphysical spaces of reality. His work has a clean, trippy vibe that you might like.
Vitaly Bulgarov – One of my favorite hard surface modelers. If you spend a lot of time online, you probably recognize his mechs, exo-suits, and futuristic machines.
Raven Kwok – Check out RK’s Vimeo while you’re at it. I think I first found out about him peripherally from listening to Here’s To Them by Rawtekk and going deep down the generative art rabbit hole; the art style of the music video was most likely inspired by his work.
dvdp – Generative art.
Djamila Knopf – Beautiful independent artwork.
